About me

A teacher who codes. A developer who teaches.

Umar Qureshi — known to his students as Sir Umar Qureshi — is a computer science teacher, full-stack developer and SaaS builder from Abbottabad, Pakistan. He built OnePlace, a multi-vendor marketplace and e-commerce SaaS platform, and the platform for PSTA (Professional Skills & Tech Academy), and he trains students in web development, AI, data science, Power BI, digital marketing and office automation.

My story

I started my career in the classroom. For 10+ years I have helped students understand ideas that once felt out of reach — and I learned that the best explanations are the simplest ones.

Alongside teaching I became a full-stack developer, and discovered that building software uses exactly the same muscles. Whether it is a lesson plan or a database schema, the goal is to make something complex feel obvious to the person using it.

That mindset led me to build OnePlace — a verified multi-vendor marketplace and a Shopify-style SaaS where sellers run their own stores, with separate seller, admin, customer and affiliate dashboards, escrow payments and courier integrations — and the PSTA platform for Professional Skills & Tech Academy in Abbottabad, with online admissions, student login and verifiable certificates.

Today I teach web development, AI, Python and data science, Power BI, digital marketing and office automation, build platforms for clients, and mentor the next generation of developers.
